1. Scope

These terms govern the use of this website and participation in the beta programme of the Both app, operated by Joel Köster. Use of the app itself is governed separately by the app terms of use.

2. Use of the website

The website can only be used once all cookies have been accepted. Legal pages remain accessible without accepting.

Contents are provided for information purposes. No guarantee is given for accuracy, completeness or continuous availability.

3. Beta registration

Registration is free of charge and non-binding. Registering does not create an entitlement to admission to the beta, to a particular date, or to the app being released at all.

Registration becomes active only after confirmation by email. It can be withdrawn at any time by writing to support@getboth.app.

4. Feedback

Feedback, suggestions and error reports may be used by the operator to improve the product and, in anonymised form, for its own communication, without any obligation to pay compensation.

5. Account deletion

The account can be deleted at any time on the "Delete account" page. Deletion takes effect once confirmed by email and cannot be undone.

6. Liability

The operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.

In cases of slight negligence, liability applies only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.

7. Changes to these terms

The operator may amend these terms with effect for the future. Registered testers will be informed of material changes by email.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
